According to the official announcement from fal, fal has launched the Turbo version based on the MiniMax H3 Max released on August 27. The H3 Max Turbo is fine-tuned from the original MiniMax H3 and optimized for fal's inference system. In a 5-second, 768p video test, generation latency dropped from 3.49 seconds on H3 Max to 1.40 seconds, achieving approximately 2.5x speed improvement.

In terms of quality, fal’s internal benchmarking rates the original H3 Max at 100%, with Turbo scoring 97%. However, the official states that prompt understanding, aesthetic quality, and overall output remain largely preserved, still surpassing both the original MiniMax H3 and other tested video models. Pricing-wise, the standard rate for the Turbo version is $0.04 per second for 768p—half the $0.08 per second of H3 Max. During the launch promotion, an additional 25% discount applies, reducing the cost to just $0.01 per second, resulting in a total cost of $0.60 to generate a one-minute video.
