According to PwC's latest report, global data center construction has entered a historic expansion phase, with projected cumulative investment reaching approximately $3.2 trillion over the next 25 years, including around $510 billion in investments within the five-year window up to 2030. The report highlights that surging AI demand is creating bottlenecks across multiple dimensions of data center development—power supply, equipment procurement, cooling infrastructure, rack deployment, construction execution, and delivery timelines—with the core challenge being the conversion of capital expenditure into reliable, MW-scale compute capacity. The industry requires a unified, end-to-end coordination and delivery model, where full-stack coordinators could capture 5% to 8% of project spend, representing a potential market opportunity of $25.5 billion to $40.8 billion prior to 2030.
