According to market data from Vanda Research, during Monday's 5% sell-off in NVIDIA shares, retail investors' buying volume amounted to only $108 million. The firm notes that retail accumulation on dips remains exceptionally weak. Since January 2025, in the most recent 25 comparable drawdowns, Monday's retail buying ranked 23rd, indicating the weakest dip absorption strength among the period. These figures reflect that retail capital participation has not significantly increased during NVIDIA’s price corrections.
